Havana Dance, at the Crystal Theater enjoyed a full house as the show premiered Wednesday night. Producer Steve Hudson, Choreographer, Graciella Biart, Artisic Director Jose Valdes Grillo and Assistant to the Director Julia Rodriguez, joined the cast from Varadero, Cuba, in the foyer after the show to received buckets or warm praise and heartfelt compliments.
Havana Dance opening night was an elaborate affair with a pre-show and a post-show cocktail reception attended by many hospitality movers and shakers, among them local businessman Eduardo De Veer, the developer of the Renaissance complex in the heart of town, General Manager Paul Gielen, Director of Sales Janine Huistra and many invitees from de Palm Tours, and Pelican Adventure Activity Centers, in charge of selling Havana Dance tickets in the hotels.
The show, a unique celebration of Cuban and Caribbean cultures offers tickets at US$49.- per person. Children under 12 pay US$25. Tickets are available at the theater’s box office, Renaissance Aruba Resort, and can also be obtained at the concierge’s desk at Renaissance Aruba Resort.
Ticket vendors include De Palm Tours and Pelican Adventure Activity Centers at all of Aruba’s hotels. A special dinner & show package is also available in conjunction with famed L.G. Smith’s Steak & Chop House at US$89.- per person.
