Eagle Beach – La Cabana Beach Resort & Casino stages a special party each year in honor of Mother’s Day. Mothers from among the resort associates are feted during a special gathering at the resort conference room. Welcomed with flowers, music, snacks, and refreshments mothers enjoyed a fabulous afternoon, relaxed and content, while being showered with gifts.
The resort’s active social committee drummed up dozens of gifts and gift certificates presenting almost all mothers attending the party with a surprise gift to go home with. Last year’s outgoing Mother of the year, Jessica Franken welcomed her successor for 2014 as party-goers applauded a very worthy, hardworking woman and mother, who happens to be a resort house-keeper.
The just-elected Mother of the year received a lovely embroidered sash, a bouquet of flowers and gifts, and enjoyed the picture opportunity, and the fun afternoon, even a bit of dancing.
