Ed, Cathy and Francisco Queenan, from NJ, staying at Casa del Mar have been coming to Aruba for the past 17 years. They mostly seek rest on the island, which they easily find at their resort and as a special treat on Sunday after Casa Del Mar’s mass service they go next door for dinner, and on an annual two-week stay, they usually visit the restaurants at the Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa not just once but twice. They were pleased they could be served al fresco, on the patio, and savor tropical family dinner together.
While Francisco enjoyed the Certified Beef Churrasco, Ed and Cathy love fresh fish, and they report the grouper was great, lemon flavored for Ed, grilled for Cathy.
They all agreed the Dutch potatoes are sinfully, and everything on the menu from the basket of olive-oil and herb drizzled foccacia bread to the apfel strudel a la mode dessert is fantastic.
