Expert Coffee Makers at Radisson

Members of the Sunset Grille staff and the associates in charge of Coffee & Cream, the resort’s lobby café reviewed their coffee-making skills at a two-part training given by Dieter Nicolaas. The training consisted of a short slide and video presentation, followed by the practical application of good espresso and great cappuccino, Barista skills.

 

Famed coffee makers Smit & Dorlas took up the challenge to teach staffers how to make a fantastic cup of coffee throughout the resort, a uniform espresso and cappuccino, thus increasing potential coffee sales.

The aspiring baristas were taken through all steps of blending, grinding, machine set up and manual skills and became quite proficient at serving top Java.
