Eco Destination Management Services of Aruba hosted an intimate office-party at Musa Café di Artista on Caya Betico Croes.

Ruben Mannes and Magali Meza also represented company CEO Wichita Villacres as they unveiled the ECO DMS’ updated logo and recognized ten years of excellent service by Glenda Henricus, the company’s tireless Director of Operations.

The previous ECO DMS logo, explained Mannes, was designed in-house 20 years ago. It was decorative & elegant and it contributed nicely to the company’s growth over the two last decades. With the recent global economic downturn ECO DMS decided to make an investment and turn up the heat on the logo, and on the marketing collateral, with bolder, bigger, more colorful graphics which maintain strong connections to the old, much-liked and well-trusted look.

The decision to redo collateral was also spurred on by the upcoming SITE International Conference 2009, unfolding in Aruba October 30 – November 2, of which ECO DMS CEO Wichita Villacres is the International co-chair. SITE has selected Aruba as the host-country for the 2009 IC that will bring together the top minds in incentive travel, a multi-billion dollar global industry.

With its new look, ECO DMS is targeting clients opting to engage the company as their Aruba MICE contact. The logo and the brochures, for Aruba in English, and for the Latin market in Spanish had to make an impact, an emotional impression, motivating the clients to desire and seek services from ECO DMS.

The logo and marketing collateral, Mannes continued, had to communicate a friendly, bright and engaging attitude, much like the mood in which ECO DMS services are rendered.

And the main massage was and remains: “We will make it happen,” “Your business is our only business,” and “we will deliver a well-planned and superbly-executed motivational experience.”  The supporting message of ECO DMS’ new look consists of charming Aruba icons, the cactus, the lighthouse, the chapel of Alto Visa and most importantly, the new symbol, a compass incorporated with the logo, standing for ECO DMS comprehensive approach and its global appeal, also for the fact that it caters to clients from around the globe.

ECO DMS now offers its service in Aruba as well as in Miami via an affiliation with PRA Destination Management of Southeast Florida. True to the company’s commitment to environmental practices, it was the CEO’s specific request to print the new ECO brochures on recycled paper. ECO DMS has become a Green Company in 2008.

Mannes also thanked colleagues and co-workers for their creative input and presented the new images, as conceived and executed by Marketing Plus NV.

Mannes and Meza then honored Henricus for her years of service with a handsome engraved plaque, and acknowledged her important contributions to the success of the overall company.

Pictured here the get together at Musa Café di Artista, at the end of the ceremonial part of the afternoon singer Angela Croes honored the ECO DMS crew with a short recital of her favorite songs, over snacks and drinks.
