Windows on Aruba restaurant at Divi Links hosted a press conference for Digicel Aruba announcing the upcoming Red Jacket Golf Tournament, unfolding July 2nd at the nine hole course. Digicel reported that local companies and sponsors will be invited to participate and the golf tournament is expected to enlist players quickly, as fast as its predecessor, the previous year.
Juan Kock sales manager for Digicel Aruba and his colleague Wanda Broeksma, marketing director for Digicel Aruba, spoke to the press recently explaining that the tournament is part of the festivities planned in honor of Digicel’s 6th anniversary on the island.
A social hour from 7 to 9 p.m. will follow the Red Jacket Golf Tournament, allowing for networking after a festive award ceremony with red jacket trophies.
A local charity will also benefit from a substancial donation from funds raised by the tournament. The nine hole event will feature a fun golf clinic and great prizes for winners.
