Palm Beach — Third quarter award celebrations were held at La Cabana Beach Resort & Casino in an ongoing commitment to keep on creating memorable vacations for resort owners and guests and continuing to provide associates with care and appreciation in exchange for the loyalty, passion and trust, they bring to work every day.
Associate of the Month for July was Catherine Martinez, Activities, who joined other July nominees at the conference room, as they received certificates of appreciation and heartfelt applause. The nominees included Francisca Ferreira, Kitchen; Ainsley Murray, Engineering; Henry Garcia, Pool & Beach and Kirk Lovelace, Front Office.
Associate of the Month for August was Nixon Castillo, Activities, who joined other August nominees at the conference room, as they received certificates of appreciation and heartfelt applause. The nominees included Marlon Clemencia, Security; Rufina Orman, Accounting; Sandy Ras, Engineering; Rowgan Cobrador, Pool & Beach and Alexandra Werleman, PBX.
Associate of the Month for September, was Jandor Lampe, Food & Beverage who joined other September nominees, at the conference room, as they received certificates of appreciation and heartfelt applause. The nominees included Andre Geerman, Security; Seul Britus, Pool & Beach, Yves Andre, Engineering; Ireneo Catibayan, Bell Services and Alwin Flanegin, Housekeeping.
As Supervisor of the 3rd quarter, Lindoro Vera, Security, exceeded all expectations and won the coveted title over the other nominee for the Supervisor of the 3rd Quarter title, Manuel Castro, F&B Kitchen.
As customary, the Team of the 3rd Quarter was elected from among several nominated. The winners, the Security Team, rose above all other nominees for Team of the 3rd Quarter honors, namely the Accounting and the Laundry Team.
The festive occasion over sumptuous lunch also celebrated a number of anniversaries. Commemorating their 5th anniversary at the resort, Serge Louis, Engineering. Other anniversaries included, the 10th anniversary of Randolf Roch, Engineering; the 20th anniversary, of Corazon Aligncomot, Security, and the 25th anniversary, of Roderick Martis, Bell Services and Rita Maduro, Accounting.
General Manager Joe Najjar congratulated his long-timers for their solid career choices and thanked them for bringing their talents and energy to work everyday on behalf of the resort and its guests.
