The White Yellow Cross Foundation commemorated 50 years of community service this week with a number of festivities taking place at the Radisson Aruba Resort Casino & Spa.
A daytime activity included a “muchila creativo” under the direction of Joan Danies, an interactive presentation in the Grand Caribbean Ballroom outlining all services rendered by the White Yellow Cross to members of the community, kids, the elderly and the infirm. The presentation came alive in the form of a “tableau vivant,” as participants acted and introduced home care, parent and childcare, information on nutrition, blood sugar and pressure control, cholesterol and triglycerides and disability services to the music of duo Nostalgia Caribeña.
The nighttime celebration included a gala evening with dance music by Tsunami and a wonderful array of snacks and hors d’hoeuvres offered by the resort culinary team which concluded the festivities for the organization determined to activate and optimize healthcare for the Aruban community.
