The Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino hosted a warm and entertaining anniversary celebration at the Renaissance Convention Center marking long term commitments to the island’s tourism industry as expressed by dedicated associates.
Members of management congratulated colleagues working at the Marina Tower and the Ocean Suites for their devotion also recognizing the gaming experts from both Crystal and Seaport Casino for their steady contributions.
Resort associates Raymond Habibe, Accounting; Janneke Huistra, Sales & Marketing; Jose Kransen, Papagayo Renaissance Island & Judith Lacle, Okeanos Spa concluded their 5th year, while Otilia Maduro, Housekeeping Ocean Suites; and Marguerite Antoine, Main Kitchen, marked their 10th anniversary. Sharon Tromp, Accounting; Nelson Ruiz, F&B Ocean Suites and Maria Estevez, Renaissance Convention Center Kitchen, celebrated their 15th year of uninterrupted service.
Casino associates Owen Tromp, Seaport Casino Slot, wrapped up his 5th year while Michael Croes, Surveillance, his colleague at the department Sharles de Palm and David Oduber, Crystal Casino Dealer completed their 10th year. Stella Geerman, Seaport Casino Dealer spent her 15th year with the company.
In appreciation of their excellent performance the team was treated to a festive buffet with Carnival decorations, featuring Chinese hot pot, an interactive sushi and tempura station, lamb chops, teppanyaki, bacon wrapped filet mignon, grilled chicken breast, chorizo sausage, marinated tuna loin, assorted just-tossed salads and a dramatic cascade of warm chocolate running from the dipping fountain. Queta Werleman, Human Resources Manager and Paul Gielen, General Manager were on hand to share the achievement of their super-star team from the Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino.
