Caribbean Palm Village Resort Honors Loyal Guests

The Caribbean Palm Village Resort is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. In conjunction with the landmark achievement management decided to honor its long-time guests at the weekly Manager’s Cocktail Party.

This week, owners Mr & Mrs Daley and Joan Murphy, who have been coming to the resort for 25 years as well as Mr & Mrs Hood, are pictured here receiving commemorative plaques in the presence of the treasurer of the board Randy Croes.

The honorees report that for the past quarter of the century they have been returning to the same place and joyfully meeting their friends, as they have never missed a vacation at the Caribbean Palm Village Resort.

All owners share a similar leap of faith story, that of being approached by an OPC on Palm Beach, and being welcomed by mythical sales person Tania Croes to the construction site of the resort, originally developed by the Chemali family.

Tania then went on to seal the deal, encouraging her clients to believe in vacation dreams. According to the honorees, they bought a hole in the ground, with mud, and it turned out to be the best investment they have ever made!!

Activity coordinator Farley Croes then raffled a free year of membership in Interval International among the honorees, won by Mrs Daley while Scabeche restaurant served delicious snacks and the bar poured bottomless libations.

In connection with the anniversary, commemorative tee-shirts are for sale at the front desk. A collection box for the home of the elderly was also placed at the front desk, with the intention of making a generous donation at the end of the year, on behalf of management and owners.

As added activities, Ronny, the Madeleine’s Skin & Body Care therapist was invited to the party granting guests a taste of her therapeutic hands on the chair massage. Local artist Rhona Lemminga is a also regular guest at the resort, selling beautiful handmade jewelry every Tuesday afternoon. .
