Beautilities NV joins the PFTSA

Lizayra A. R. Polak, Managing Director Beautilities NV and Sanaa Bergen-Baroud, Executive Director PFTSA signed an agreement by which starting May 1st, Beautilities Aruba N.V employees will join the Pension Fund Tourism Sector Aruba, PFTSA.

Beautilities NV has been operating in Aruba for over 40 years. The agency is the exclusive representative for L’Oreal Paris, Adidas, Schwarzkopf & Henkel, Healing Garden y Solar Sense, and is located at John G. Emanstraat 29, Oranjestad, Aruba

The Pension Fund Tourism Sector Aruba was founded in 1992 as an the initiative of the Aruba Hotel And Tourism Association and the FTA labor union, as they both shared the vision and the desire to create a pension plan which would provide workers in the tourism industry with additional income after retirement on top of the general old age pension provided by the government. At the moment, PFTSA counts about 25 member-companies affiliated, with a total of 2200 employees-participants, expanding further into the business community beyond tourism.

As stated on the PFTSA web site: The regulatory body for the PFTSA is the Central Bank of Aruba. PFTSA is dedicated to providing retirement and related benefits, accurate information, dependable communication and valuable educational assistance to its members. As responsible fiduciaries, the fund professionally manages the resources of PFTSA and implements its practices, plans and benefit services with the highest ethical standards.

PFTSA strives to be the number one choice of employers and employees for the execution of their retirement plans. The PFTSA board consists of an equal amount of representatives from the employers’ side and the participants’ side. The board is completed with an impartial chairman. S
