The Cheerleaders of the Philadelphia Eagles are on the island at the Radisson Aruba Resort Casino & Spa. They picked Aruba this year as the tropical backdrop for their fabulous annual calendar.
Many local press members and dignitaries flocked to the beachside welcome reception thrown by the Radisson in their honor. The party was also attended by hotel executive and tourism personalities.
The squad of 38 female athletes, between the ages of 19 to 31, features pros when it comes to community appearances. And while they all hold regular jobs as students, teachers, nurses & models, they cherish their part-time athletic activities as Cheerleaders for the famous NFL team.
The squad arrived on the island with its own cameraman, photographers, hairdressers, makeup artists, choreographers, and managers.
Their official website reports that the Eagles Cheerleaders perform for thousands of fans at Eagles games and travel internationally to visit military troops stationed overseas. They wear uniforms designed by the famed Vera Wang and are featured in national television shows and magazines including Maxim, FHM and Muscle and Fitness.
