One of Island Temptations’ favorite model was a poise, elegant social media specialist, from the LAB, Elaine Voorderhaak, we never got tired of taking her pictures.
Then she got married to a handsome man, and had two babies.
How are you, she writes, Windie, as in Aqua Windie’s, or Sjoerd, as in Elaine’s dive master husband, might have mentioned to you already, but, I started my own business!
Our favorite model let her entrepreneurial spirit soar.
Next to working at The Lab I decided to start my own business, she continues, Baby’s Best Aruba – specializing in gift packages, and you can test the products before committing to purchase.
Elaine makes customized and nicely wrapped test/gift packages including different diaper brands, from all that’s available in Aruba.
It is perfect for new parents, or expecting parents to be, so they can easily test different diaper brands, while not spending too much money and a lot of time searching and researching, finding the best fit for their baby!
I was walking around with the idea, she explains, since my pregnancy with Adi, kid #1, and noticed there are actually so many diaper brands in Aruba, that it can be confusing, and many parents just go for the best-known and expensive brands, because they don’t know better, while the expensive brands might not even be the best fit for their newborn or toddler.
I officially went ‘Live’ on October 18, 2021, and launched my website www.babysbestaruba.com
This is super exciting to me. I still have a lot of work to do in regards to promotion, but maybe you can help? And luckily I have the online marketing skills already, courtesy of a few years with the LAB. I know word-of-mouth marketing always is the best way of advertising, especially in Aruba, therefore I thought to email you, since you also know a lot of people.
