Azzurro introduces fun special promotions

DSC07469Azzurro Ristorante Italiano calls Playa Linda Beach Resort its home. The terrace restaurant located on the pool level of the resort overlooks Palm Beach and affords diners a bird’s eye view of the spectacular coast.

The food at Azzurro is as impressive as the view featuring the authentic taste of Italy in a tropical, casual ambiance from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Some of the restaurant’s recently-introduced promotions include a Mix & Match, make you own lunch combo, challenging patrons to create their mid-day Pizza, Pasta, Salad & Panini pairing. And the menu offers a great variety of favorites such as Insalata Mista & Ceasar Salad, different kinds of Pasta tossed with homemade sauces such as Bolognese, Alfredo, Carbonara, Pomodoro, Arrabiata, Quattro Formaggio, Aglio e Olio, Caprese and Putanesca, with or without the added zest of Italian Sausage, Chicken or Meatballs. The pizza oven at Azzurro tirelessly delivers hand-tossed pies overflowing with Italian Sausage, Pepperoni, Ham, Green Peppers, Red Onions, Mushrooms, Smoked Bacon, Pineapple and Chicken with or without extra cheese.

The famed pressed Italian Paninis are jaw-breaking at Azzurro and surprise diners with Grilled Chicken, Prosciutto Parma Ham, Tuna, Mild Italian Sausage, Fresh Mushrooms, Mozzarella Cheese, Bell Peppers, Artichokes, Tomatoes, Red Onions or Zucchini at very reasonable prices.

As the best part of the day, Happy Hour at Azzurro Ristorante Italiano features a two-for-one promotion twice daily from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. with cocktail-libations mixed at $6.50. And the friendly bartenders deliver Daiquiris, Coladas, Margaritas, besides specialty umbrella cocktails from Mojito to Caipirinha, and from Tequila Sour and Blue Gin Lemonade, all hours of the day.

In honor of Aruba’s breathtaking sunsets Azzurro Ristorante Italiano offers a nightly special from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. for just $29.95, featuring a choice of Baby Greens Salad, or Pasta Fagioli for appetizer, Pollo Venezia, Azzurro Cartoccio, or Veal Parmigian, served with pasta on the side as main course, Dessert, Coffee or Tea, and a complimentary glass of wine.

The restaurant is affiliated with Daniel’s Steak & Chop and with Gianni’s across the street from the Radisson Aruba Resort Casino & Spa and with Sole Mare on the Palm Beach road. It does not post any service charges on the bill and tipping is up to patrons.
