The management of La Cabana Beach & Racquet Club was happy to announce the names of employees nominated to Associate of the Month for the 1st quarter of the year, namely for January, February & March which were celebrated along with the Supervisor of the 1st Quarter 2008, at an informal gathering in the resort’s restaurant.
Winner for the month of January was Rocio Jansen of the Housekeeping Department. Other nominees were Sheila James from the Food & Beverage Department, Jagmarie Yunis from the Front Office and Maria Maduro from the Kitchen.
Winner for the month of February was Luz Adriana Danje from the Kitchen. Anther nominee was John Maduro from the Food & Beverage Department.
Winner for the month of March was Maureen Martinez from the Accounting. Another nominee was Francisca Ferreira from the Kitchen.
All winners and runner-ups, says General Manager Joe Najjar showed a great deal of dedication, applying themselves to the job at hand, and giving above and beyond expectations.
Winner of the coveted Supervisor of the 1st Quarter Award for 2008 was Nimfa Jaranilla from the Security Department. Another nominee was Jeanette Brooks from the Food & Beverage Department.
Najjar praised the supervisors for their leadership and for their excellent performance and thanked them for all they have done for guests and colleagues at the resort.
La Cabana Beach & Racquet Club also honored several associates celebrating their 10th & 15th anniversaries. Among those celebrating their long-term employment were Erwin Donata, Engineering; Wanda Winterdal, Housekeeping; Marc Anthony, Accounting; Orlando Bolivar, Food & Beverage Department; Walter Kelly, Front Office; Frederick Lovell, Bell Services; Rocio Velasquez, Housekeeping; Salima Nazim, Health Club; Marleny Rodriguez, Food & Beverage Department and Patricia Bernabela, Housekeeping.
