Aqua di Lara’s designer Reyhan Sofraci is currently in Aruba with a camera crew to shoot the company’s entire 2013 global campaign here. The Canadian designer, her models, who are the faces of the campaign, make-up artists, photographers and videographers, spent a pleasant evening at Fusion Piano & Wine Bar, Alhambra Shopping Mall as guests of the Aruba Tourism Authority, over cocktails and hors d’hoeuvres. The evening was orchestrated by Billionaire Media on behalf of Aruba in Style 2012, in preparation for the second annual fashion week here, in November.
Aqua di Lara showed last year’s collection here as part of the first fashion week, in 2011, and was impressed with the island and the beaches, returning this year to shoot the global campaign with models Samantha and Elise.
Reyhan reports she will be shooting the entire collection of over 20 swim suits and bikinis including matching beach wear on location at Renaissance private Island during the day, and at night at Bar Blue at the Renaissance Marina Hotel, which will give the collection an edgy, original and sophisticated flair. The collection, combining high style and high quality, is manufactured in Montreal and available around the globe.
