The President’s Club of the Atlanta-based AutoTrader enjoyed the island of Curacao on a motivational experience just recently, basking in the island’s perpetual sunshine, lovely beaches and cultural heritage.
The group’s successful Curacao stay was facilitated by ECO Destination Management Services of Curacao.
While on the island, AutoTrader opted to also include CSR, a Corporate Social Responsibility project in the President’s Club itinerary. CSR is about how companies manage their business processes to produce an overall positive impact on society, be it their hometown or their vacation destination.
AutoTrader decided to focus its CSR project on the St. Jozef Orphanage, and converged on the facility taking the time and earmarking resources, to paint the location from top to bottom and to give each child within department/unit # 4 a pair of school shoes.
“AutoTrader views the way it does business not just in financial figures, but also by the overall positive impact it has on its community, in this case the host island of Curacao,” says Wichita Villacres, President ECO Destination Management Services of Curacao.
