A slice of heaven, is how a law professor described the Michigan State University Campus where Audra Ray & Neil Whitmer met.
It wasn’t until the second year of law school that Niel took serious notice and seated himself next to Audra during a Wills & Trust class. He was a geology master’s degree graduate from Lawrenceville, Illinois and she was a Microbiology major graduate from West Bloomfield, Michigan, yet before long personal chemistry was their shared major!
Audra began her family trips to Aruba at 18 months, with her parents Gary & Donna Ray and grandparents Victor & Grazina Ankus who are regular island visitors since 1970.
Aruba seemed the perfect choice to create a memory to last a lifetime, says grandma Grazina, and 30 guests happily arrived here to attend the couple’s gorgeous destination wedding including Neil’s parents Larry & Debbie Whitmer, his brother Evan the Best Man, aunts, uncles, godparents, Maid of Honor Megan Benedict and her parents, among other family members.
The new Mr. & Mrs. Whitmer are both participating attorneys now, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. They enjoy lots of outdoor activities, and like to spoil they pets. They will always remember Aug 14th, 2010, and the beach at the Radisson Aruba Resort Casino & Spa, as true slice of heaven.
Following the blessings on the beach, the couple hosted a pool-side banquet expertly arranged by the resort Bridal Specialist Lisa Dammerman and the culinary team.
