During the Bon Bini cocktail party at Gold Coast Residence, local artist Elvis Tromp was invited to create a live scene, an expressionistic tableau vivant, while the party was on pool side, in honor of the international delegates arriving on the island for the Aruba Tourism Conference, ATCA 2009.
Then during the ATCA general assembly at the Radisson Aruba Resort Casino & Spa, Gold Coast General Manager Ed Malone, assisted by the Aruba Hotel & Tourism Association, AHATA, Director of Marketing Sanju Daryanani drew a winner from among the business cards collected earlier that morning.
Wayne Noseworthy, Director of Product Development for famed Thomas Cook, out of Toronto Canada won the canvas depicting a dramatic, torch illuminated party at Gold Coast Residence, surrounded by tropical landscape, in a Dutch-inspired architectural setting. Pictured here the artist, the work of art and the drawing, co-presented by the Director of Marketing for the Aruba Tourism Authority, ATA, Fritz Israel.
