At the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino, June is Aloe Wellness Month in Aruba

Palm Beach  –Created by the Aruba Tourism Authority, the Aruba Aloe Wellness Month aims at highlighting the island’s special relationship to the Aloe plant, with a special emphasis on the many different wellness activities available on our One Happy Island.

The Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino will be offering an extensive Aloe Wellness program in June supporting the Aruba Tourism Authority initiative, helping first time visitors as well as repeat guests to focus on their wellbeing while on vacation, relaxing and revitalize their body, mind and soul connection.

Guests on vacation at the Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino may participate in Yoga and Aqua Fitness classes, given twice a week, each, on the lushly landscaped Miramar south lawn and in the refreshing active pool.

The resort’s fitness instructor, Gladys Duarte, is a classically trained dancer, a native of Cuba, who went through that country’s rigorous dance and athletic schools to become a certified Buti Yoga instructor and a Zumba teacher.

Gladys has a special approach to exercise and movement, and the workouts she gives at the resort combine bursts of intense cardio, elements of tribal and Caribbean dance, stretching and conditioning, at all levels of instruction. “You can still burn calories and benefit from body sculpting and toning, while on vacation,” she says, ”no need to sign up, just show up for a class any morning at 10am, prepared to have some fun.”

As part of the Aloe Wellness Month resort guests are invited to rent bikes and venture out on their own, along well marked paths around Palm Beach, or rent stand-up paddle boards, SUP, and glide on the flat surface of the water in front of the hotels, for an excellent core muscles’ workout.

Two more optional activities, volleyball and archery, have been made available to guests anytime.

The resort’s branded eforea Spa is giving 2 spa demos per week and all aloe treatments at this award winning spa are specially priced, for the month.

French-born Executive Chef Gerard Coste will be conducting a cooking class each week this month, focusing on healthy Mediterranean recipes which are fast and easy to make. Join his class at the Sunset Grille, the resort’s flagship restaurant, check with the concierge for time and day. At the end of the cooking class the mixologists of the Mira Solo Bar, will be taking over for Cocktail 101s, with some uniquely creative tropical concoctions, such as the Aruba Aloe Lemon Splash.

You are invited to join any of the activities, celebrating Aloe Wellness Month in Aruba.
