PALM BEACH –The Annual Tourism Conference kicked off this week, with Aruba’s tourism partners welcoming U.S. travel wholesalers, tour operators, and airline companies to the island. The annual event provides these travel industry professionals with an update on the island’s overall tourism product, and facilitates negotiations of new and exciting business ventures.
On Thursday, some 60 guests gathered at The Hilton Aruba Caribbean Hotel & Casino for an interactive marketplace followed by sumptuous lunch buffet in the Grand Caribbean Ballroom. Director of Sales and Marketing Arianne Valentino, Executive chef Gerard Coste and General Manager Olivier Maumaire were on hand to meet and greet the dignitaries, and share some of the resort’s renovation and refresh plans for the summer of 2016.
