A group of meeting-planners from North America, arrived here for a weekend of tropical activities designed to introduce the island of Aruba as a premier meetings and conventions destination to their clients.
The meeting-planners were invited by the ACB, the Aruba Convention Bureau and will be staying at the Renaissance Aruba Resort until Sunday.
Pictured here their swanky welcome reception, a Sunset in Style event, which unfolded at the Renaissance Marina Hotel, on the lovely pool deck, serving a variety of butler-passed hors d’ oeuvres such as Peppered Beef with spicy Fruit Salsa, Smoked Salmon Tartar in Chinese Spoons, Maki Sushi and Nigiri Sushi, Chicken Pot Stickers with Ginger Soy Sauce, over premium martini and coolers, to live DJ lounge music.
Sunset in Style was followed by a site inspection of the resort with General Manager Paul Gielen. The dignitaries were also joined by the local hospitality movers and shakers from other resort properties, the Renaissance ACB partners, who were also introduced to the group at the party. Ariana Santiago Gonzalez, Sales Manager, Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino reports that the dignitaries have all booked clients before to the Caribbean in small and large groups and hail from all over the USA.
