Eagle Beach — Gerry & Alan Christie met each other over 40 years ago, in a bar in Vancouver. That night, they went out on the town with two different groups of friends, but after that chance meeting, their paths merged, and on their 40-year journey together they were blessed by two sons, one granddaughter, and a timeshare unit in Aruba, which they purchased eighteen years ago.
They have been coming back to the island and La Cabana Beach Resort & Casino ever since.
Having renewed their vows here, they took the family out for dinner at Las Ramblas, a fine dining destination, under twinkling night skies, that has been totally renovated, boasting a separate entrance, coming in from the Eagle Beach boardwalk.
The Christies enjoyed excellent food and wine at the al fresco Spanish grill, as well as a colorful sunset together.
