The local artist, whose exceptional photography now graces the walls of the Sunset Grille Restaurant, visited her creations and was pleased to see how well the artwork shows.
The four-diamond rated restaurant at the Radisson Aruba Resort Casino & Spa was recently refreshed and with the completion of the renovation new artwork was picked by Aruban-born photographer Annemiek Van Vliet, known for her exceptional nature images. Four gorgeous sunsets adorn the main wall, while a collage of charming birds, lizards, goats and donkeys grace the entrance and the hostess desk.
The photography was very well received by restaurant patrons who have been commenting on the beauty of Aruba depicted through Annemiek’s camera lens. Annemiek’s work has been published in magazines and books and has appeared in a number of expositions, including her own solo exhibition at the Starwood Art Gallery, Westin Resort & Casino Aruba in January 2011.
