Art Rules Aruba kicked off in style, with a press conference, followed by delicious pancake brunch, at Atelier 89, on Monday.
Two hundred local teens signed up for the program, which is in its third year. They will be participating in intense summer courses in eight artistic disciplines such as Photography, Fashion, Film, Dance, DJ, Street Art, Music & Performance and Theater, taught by local and international professionals who will be sharing their knowledge and experience with the youth of Aruba.
Rembrandt Café, at the South Beach Centre was the proud sponsor of brunch. He then delivered then warm to Atelier 89, in Oranjestad, and heated them last minute before serving them to ravenous kids drizzled with traditional syrup and fine sugar!

Artist Stanly Kuiperi was also on hand to coordinate the Street Art project, the creation of a giant mural in Madiki, designed as part of the island’s beautification plan. Representatives of the Aruba Way Foundation graced the conference with their presence delivering generous check, donating 50 scholarships to Art Rules Aruba, to the most talented applicants.
