Employees demonstrating optimal performances, nominated for the Employee of the Third Quarter title gathered for an informal award ceremony recently, they were Cesar Martinez, Housekeeping Supervisor, Lazandra Noor, Room Attendant, Kenjah Howell, Assistant Front Desk Manager, and the winner, Andres Moreno, a member of Maintenance, who joined the resort just six months ago but has already made considerable contributions, executing his work to perfection, proving loyalty to the company and dedication to the job.
A number of employees were also lauded for going the extra mile during the third quarter of the year, they were Jean Merisier, Painter, Kenja Howell, Assistant Front Desk Manager, Vivian Orcadio, Front Desk Clerk, Gilberto Spataro, Janet Brinkmann, Cesar Martinez and Natalee Morisson, all four Housekeeping Supervisors, and Gregoria Burgos, Janeth Herrera, Jael Kock and Obdalis Farro, all Room Attendants.
Interim General manager Astrid Muller reports that the Extra Mile nominees included the resort’s painter who chased an intruder who attempted to walk away with new cans of paint, and members of housekeeping who are excellent trouble-shooters and resolve all guests’ requests and challenges on their own, with the proactive resolutions.
Muller, and Mary Werleman, Human Resources Manager, posed with their top achieving staff members as they received a handsome certificate besides much-deserved praise.
Immediately after the short recognition ceremony, CVA Foundation Aruba dedicated to the prevention of strokes gave a short lecture regarding cerebral events, as an enrichment session, helping staffers live a healthier lifestyle, on and off the job.
