Pepia AmWine connoisseur Michael v/d Berg enjoys sharing his vast knowledge of wines with restaurant service staff in Aruba. And the crew of Amazonia Churrascaria has been benefiting from his teachings recently as paired with a tasting at the company’s Eagle headquarters.

Wine set up, wine service and pairing of food & wine were discussed and at the end of each planned session, a test determines a winner, for the day.

This week, Carolina Raven the beautiful restaurant hostess scored 100% when she paired wine varieties with regions and countries, proving she is a natural, a fast learner with perfect retention.

General Manager Hubert Solagnier reports wine sales have gone up at Amazonia Churrascaria now that his staff is so comfortable abound pairing lamb with Shiraz or grilled steak with Cabernet Sauvignon.
