Amazonia Churrascaria management is grateful for the excellent performance of the fire department as well as the fast, level-headed and knowledgeable reaction of its employees.
Restaurant General Manager Hubert Solagnier reports that shortly before service on Monday evening around 6 p.m. an exhaust caught fire on the roof, over the restaurant’s kitchen. Chef Victor and Assistant General Manager Carolina Raven evacuated the staff and called the fire department, which arrived immediately to control the situation.
The following day, ELMAR, and the DTI inspectors in collaboration with cleaning and maintenance crews refreshed the restaurant, installed a new roof top exhaust and opened for business as usual, without skipping one beat.
It was a tremendous collaboration that avoided damages and distress, Solagnier states, also thanking all of the restaurant’s fans and friends who called to support and encourage the clean-up.
