Restaurant Manager Michael Ras and Sales & Customer Service Coordinator Francois Maduro hosted a taxi appreciation afternoon at L.G. Smith’s Steak & Chop House in honor of some of Aruba’s ever-helpful taxi drivers.
Francois reports that over the past six months the restaurant tracked the performance of taxi drivers delivering patrons to the popular heart-of-town steakhouse.
As a result of that program, a number of winners became eligible for very attractive prizes. Occupying first place, delivering a record number of guests to the L.G. Smith’s Streak & Chop House, Taxi 15, whose efforts won him a gasoline gift certificate of Awg 750; Taxi 352, the second place winner won a garage general service gift certificate while Taxi 76, earned a garage small service gift certificate.

Michael Ras who was just appointed restaurant manager came back to Aruba from Holland just recently where he worked for 17 years in the hospitality industry.

Smith’s Steak & Chop House is proud to add Michael to its gallery of talented executives and is confident that in collaboration with  Sales & Customer Service Coordinator Francois Maduro, the two will catapult the already [popular restaurant to a new level of service and brand recognition.
