Associates and members of management came together for the second quarter award celebration, including the Associate and Supervisor or the Month nominations for April, May & June, and Team of the Second Quarter selection for 2019.
The celebration also acknowledged diligent associates who concluded their 5th, 15th and 25th year anniversaries at the resort, during the same period.
The awards unfolded mid 100+ Days of Hospitality, an annual campaign design to refresh associates’ commitment to the delivery of outstanding service, and the wholehearted promise to create Memorable Vacations, for guests at the resort.
The nominees for April included winner Gustavo Niño, Housekeeping; Waizir Mohamed, Pool and Beach; Marlon Clemencia, Security; Ursulita Mitchell, PBX and Roshaline Croes, F&B.
The nominees for May included winner Leo Thiel, Security; Lennuska Roga, PBX; Alondra Julia, F&B and Francisca Ferreira, Kitchen.
The nominees for June included winner Nubia Jimenez, Housekeeping; Angel Santos, Bell Services and Eusebia Mercedes, Kitchen.
The nominees for Supervisor of the Second Quarter included Winner David de Cuba, Accounting; Cristina Ramirez, Housekeeping and John Lopez, Bell Services.
The nominee which ended up the winner for Team of the Second Quarter 2019 was the Housekeeping PM team.
All nominees and winners were introduced by their supervisors and managers and were publicly praised for their many professional accomplishments. They were presented with elegant engraved plaques, dinner gift certificates at the Islander Grill, as well as redeemable resort stars.
Having acknowledge exceptional work-related performances, the gathering also acknowledged long-term commitment to work with 5th year anniversary celebrants Sandra Campos, Human Resources; Fanger Guzman, F&B and Cristobal Juri, Housekeeping; 15th year anniversary celebrant Adriana Tromp, Housekeeping; and 25th year anniversary celebrants Ireneo Catibayan, Bell Services; Felicia de la Rosa, F&B and Delano Sabajo, Engineering.
A sumptuous lunch buffet was served following the official festivities, and General Manager Joe Najjar reiterated his pride in guest satisfaction scores, and encouraged associates to continue making their best efforts to provide guests with outstanding service, from the heart.
The gathering thanked the departments of Human Resources & Food & Beverage for organizing a much-enjoyed luncheon
