Executive Chef Matt Boland and the Sunset Grille culinary brigade, at the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino, are hosting a Gastronomic Experience, a four-course wine pairing dinner in partnership with The Wine Room, and guided by Wine & Hospitality Service Specialist Monrick Croes, on Saturday, July 27th, from 6:30pm to 9:30pm
The evening will start with a welcome cocktail reception at Mira Solo Lobby Bar, and dinner will be served at 7:00pm, at the Sunset Grille with seating options indoor and outdoor.
The menu features two appetizers, an intermezzo, a main course, and dessert, all carefully paired with wines imported on the occasion by the Wine Room.
The menu starts off with locally sourced Burrata and blood oranges, on a bed of locally grown arugula, Lagar de Bezana Rosado, Chile.
A classic Coquilles St Jacques is the second appetizer, with Gravlax of Salmon, Gen5 Chardonnay, Lodi California.
The delicious appetizers will be followed by a Mango Sorbet Intermezzo.
The evening’s main course serves Dry Age prime, 8oz sirloin grilled and escorted by demi-glace truffle sauce, Roth Heritage Red, Sonoma County.
The beef served at the Sunset Grille is of the highest quality, by Creekstone Farms. The farm raises superior Black Angus and applies exceptional cattle management practices to create unique and flavorful steaks.
The evening will conclude with a special dessert, a poached pear frangipane tart, Vieira De Souza Ruby Port, from Portugal.
