The island of Aruba is reaching out to European countries in an effort to attract more vacationing visitors. Under the leadership of Humphrey Vrolijk and Glennie Tromp of the Aruba Tourism Authority in Europe, a group of Italian travel professionals visited the island recently, and the two officials report that more familiarization trips from other continental partners are forthcoming.
The Sales & Marketing of the Radisson Aruba Resort Casino & Spa welcomed the dignitaries and gave them a tour of the Grade Dame, on the eve of her 50th anniversary. Â The famed resort will be celebrating an important milestone in June, also commemorating 50 years of tourism on the island.
Then the culinary team served a delectable lunch at the Sunset Grille Restaurant. Pictured here Lily Polsbroek, Sr. Sales Manager and Mylène Marques, Associate Director of Sales extending genuine hospitality, Radisson style, to the visitors.
